The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-15 Filter Regulator (GFR30015AF1WK) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300 series filters and regulates compressed air in one body. This configuration is the size 300 unit with a PT1/2 port, automatic float drain, fine 5 um filter element, embedded square gauge scaled in MPa, and a built-in reverse/check valve (code K) that holds downstream pressure when the upstream supply is shut off or lost.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series covers sizes 200 to 600 with 5 um or 40 um elements, automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, PT, G or NPT threads, and optional check valve. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow appears only as datasheet curves, so we confirm the figures for your duty on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Conditions air for servo-welding gun clamps and part grippers. The reverse/check valve keeps the regulated grip pressure stable if shop air dips mid-cycle, while the 5 um element and automatic drain protect the robot-mounted valve pack.
Provides piloting air for a hydraulic power pack's accumulator controls. The check valve retains the pilot pressure setting during supply interruptions so the machine state is not lost, and the MPa gauge gives operators a direct pressure readout.
Supplies regulated air to an end-of-line commercial vehicle brake test station. The automatic drain copes with condensate from the test-bench supply, and the held downstream pressure from the check valve supports repeatable test settings.
Choose size 300 with its 1/2 inch port for mid-range air lines; move to a larger or smaller size step to match required flow. The K suffix is the key difference here: it adds a reverse/check valve, useful where a loss of supply must not dump a set regulated pressure. The 5 um element suits precision downstream equipment; 40 um is the standard alternative. The square gauge reads MPa; bar or psi scales and an external round gauge are options. Thread is PT as standard, with G and NPT to order, and a J suffix omits the bracket.
Sizing against the curves, not a headline rating: tell us the flow and pressure your circuit needs and we will confirm the datasheet figures on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
There is no single rated flow figure for this unit; AirTAC publishes G-series performance as flow curves. Give us your required flow and operating pressure and we will confirm the relevant datasheet curve for you on request before ordering.
K means a reverse/check valve is fitted, so regulated downstream pressure is retained if upstream supply is interrupted. Drop the K to order the same unit without the valve. The rest of the code decodes as: size 300, PT1/2 port, automatic drain, square MPa gauge, 5 um element.
