The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400-10 Filter Regulator (GFR40010AJF1) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400 series is a genuine AirTAC filter regulator: filter and regulator in one body, with a drain bowl and no lubricator. This GFR40010AJF1 configuration is a 400-size unit with 3/8 in PT (thread type) ports, the standard 40 um filter element, an automatic drain that discharges condensate without operator attention, and an embedded square pressure gauge on the MPa scale. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the standard setting range with automatic drain is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing; the 400-size bowl is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part for the US market. Across the G series you can choose sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, 5 um (W) elements, manual or differential-pressure drains, round external gauges on psi or bar scales, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and flow figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR400 | G-series filter regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds regulated air to gate and stopper cylinders along a modular conveyor system, with automatic drain keeping bowl water out of the gates.
Serves as the compact air-preparation point on a builder's control panel, with the square MPa gauge reading cleanly through the panel door.
Conditions the supply to air-jet nozzles and tensioner cylinders on a textile line, filtering general plant air to the standard 40 um grade.
The F1 suffix selects the square gauge reading in MPa - a compact alternative to the external round gauge; psi and bar scales are available if your crew works in those units. The 40 um element is the standard grade for general plant air; select W for 5 um where finer protection is needed. Automatic drain (A) suits panels that run unattended, while manual and differential-pressure drains are available in the same family. Size 400 with 3/8 in PT ports covers mid-range actuator circuits; step to 600 for larger ports. No mounting bracket is included (J), so order one for panel or wall mounting. PT is the standard thread; G (BSPP) and NPT are catalogue options to order. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating - ask us to confirm sizing before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC does not publish a single rated-flow number for the GFR400 series - flow is given as characteristic curves. Send us your operating pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet and flow-curve figures on request so you can size the unit before ordering.
The F1 suffix specifies the square gauge on the MPa scale; a round external gauge is the alternative, readable in MPa, psi or bar scales depending on the code you order. Everything else in this unit - 3/8 in PT ports, 40 um element and automatic drain - stays as decoded.
