The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400-10 Filter Regulator (GFR40010MC1WK) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40010MC1WK is a filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in one body, with a drain bowl and no lubricator. This 400-size unit has a 3/8 in PT port, a 5 um filter element, a manual drain, a round pressure gauge scaled in MPa, and a reverse (check) valve fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), the wider range that applies to manual-drain units. The bowl on 400 size is polycarbonate (PC) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR400 series. Across the G series you can choose 200, 300, 400 or 600 sizes, PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and a bracket (included unless the J no-bracket option is ordered). AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR400 | G-series filter regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Conditions shop air feeding the pilot valves and clamps of a CNC machining center: the 5 um element takes out water and fine particulate while the MPa-scaled gauge lets operators read and hold set pressure in metric units.
Sits at the drop feeding gripper and capper actuators on a bottling line, filtering the compressed air and keeping the regulator set point steady for the machine's pneumatic circuit.
Mounted in the pneumatic control panel of a packaging machine, this combined filter regulator supplies clean, regulated air to the machine's directional valves and cylinders in one compact station.
Step the size and port against the air your line actually uses: 200, 300, 400 and 600 step up in both port size and flow capacity, with this 400 size at 3/8 in PT. Drain choices are differential-pressure (default), automatic or manual - the manual drain on this unit also widens the regulating range down to 0.05 MPa (7 psi). Pick 40 um for general protection or this W option (5 um) for finer prefiltration, and set the gauge scale to MPa, psi or bar to match your plant standard; this code carries the external round gauge in MPa. PT is the standard thread, with G and NPT as catalogue options to order, and a bracket is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against the datasheet before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number here. Send us your line pressure and expected air demand and we will confirm the flow curve and sizing against the datasheet before you order.
The K suffix means a reverse (check) valve is fitted to this unit; GFR models ordered without the K leave it out. It is one of the decodable options on the series, alongside drain type, filter grade, gauge scale and thread, all of which are shown on the datasheet we can supply on request.
