The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400-10 Filter Regulator (GFR40010MJC1K) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR40010MJC1K is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator with a built-in reverse (check) valve: one body that strips water and particulate from compressed air, regulates downstream pressure, and holds the set pressure downstream if the upstream supply is lost. This 400-size unit has a 3/8" PT port, a manual-drain polycarbonate bowl, a standard 40 um element, and an external round gauge on the MPa scale. With manual drain, the regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi); maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and temperature range is -5 to 70 C. The J suffix means no mounting bracket is fitted; a bracket is an option.
This is a genuine AirTAC part distributed in the US market. The GFR series runs from size 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8" to 1", three drain types, 40 um or 5 um (W) elements, square or round gauges in MPa/psi/bar scales, the K reverse-valve option shown here, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread variants to order. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds a fixture or jig clamping circuit where the check valve helps retain the regulated downstream pressure if the plant air supply drops, protecting the part in the fixture.
Conditions and regulates the air to a small pneumatic press cylinder, with the 40 um element and manual-drain bowl protecting the direction valve from water and swarf.
A line-side drop feeding stoppers, gates and pushers on a conveyor system, where the MPa gauge lets maintenance verify set pressure at a glance and the check valve guards the setting.
This code already fixes most choices: 400 size with a 3/8" PT port, manual drain, 40 um element, round MPa gauge, and the K option that fits a reverse/check valve in the body. Choose this version over the plain GFR40010MJC1 when the circuit must keep its regulated pressure during an upstream air loss or when backflow from a cylinder could reach the unit. If your plant uses G (BSPP) or NPT fittings, those threads are catalogue options to order instead of the standard PT. The bracket is omitted (J) and can be specified if panel mounting is planned. Because AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing from the datasheet against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC gives GFR400 flow as characteristic curves, not as a single rated value, so we do not quote one number. Share your working pressure and consumption and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request so you can size the unit correctly.
K fits a reverse (check) valve in the regulator body. It blocks backflow through the unit, which helps hold the regulated downstream pressure when upstream supply is interrupted and protects the regulator from reverse flow out of the circuit. The otherwise-identical GFR40010MJC1 omits it.
