The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400-10 Filter Regulator (GFR40010MJF1WK) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-10MJF1WK is a G-series filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in one body. The W suffix selects the finer 5 um filter element, and the K suffix adds a built-in reverse (check) valve. This configuration is the 400 size with a 3/8 inch PT port, a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, and a square embedded gauge reading in MPa. The J position means no mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with drain type, element grade (40 um standard, 5 um W), check-valve option, gauge style and MPa/psi/bar scale, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow figures are published as curves, so we confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR400 | G-series filter regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Regulates and cleans the air to weld-fixture clamp circuits where holding the set pressure matters, with the check valve supporting the downstream circuit if upstream supply is interrupted.
A conditioning point on a pneumatic test bench, where the 5 um element protects test-set valves and the check valve keeps the regulated section stable during supply-side adjustments.
Feeds solenoid valves and actuators on a process skid, combining fine 5 um filtration, a visible MPa set pressure and check-valve behaviour in one 3/8 inch PT body.
This is the fully optioned version of the code: 5 um filtration plus a reverse check valve in the 400 body with a 3/8 inch PT port. The check valve helps hold the regulated downstream pressure if upstream supply drops; leave K off if you do not need that behaviour. The manual drain gives the wide 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) regulation range, while automatic or differential-pressure drain versions are limited to 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). Confirm the 3/8 inch step against your circuit's required flow before ordering. The square gauge reads MPa; psi or bar scales are available, and an external round gauge can be ordered. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options; no bracket is included.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rated number, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
Yes - on request. AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow here. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for this exact configuration.
Only the K suffix: it adds a reverse (check) valve that helps hold the regulated downstream pressure if the upstream supply drops. Everything else - 400 size, 3/8 inch PT port, manual drain with the 0.05-0.9 MPa regulation range, 5 um element, square MPa gauge, no bracket - is identical. Choose the non-K version when hold-up behaviour is not required.
