The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400-10 Filter Regulator (GFR40010MJN) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40010MJN is a G-series filter regulator: water and particulate separation plus downstream pressure regulation combined in a single body. This 400-size unit has a 3/8in PT port (PT is the standard thread), a polycarbonate bowl with manual drain, and the standard 40um filter element. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and because this is the manual-drain version the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. As coded, the unit is supplied without a gauge and without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series runs from 200 to 600 sizes with ports from 1/8in to 1in, optional 5um elements, automatic or differential-pressure drain choices, embedded square or external round gauges (MPa, psi or bar scale), a reverse/check valve option, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread variants to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a bench-mounted pneumatic press or clamping fixture, the 40um element keeps compressor-carried rust, scale and water out of cylinder seals and valve spools while the regulator holds the force-setting pressure steady through the shift.
Installed ahead of the valve manifold on a carton-sealing or case-packing line, it conditions the shop air at the machine and lets the line technician set the working pressure the sealing cylinders were designed for.
Supplying pilot air to quarter-turn actuators on a plant floor, where the 3/8in PT port matches common control-loop piping and the manual drain fits a supervised maintenance round.
Step up to the 400 size with its 3/8in port when your line demand sits above what a 200 or 300 body can pass, and below what justifies a 600; we can check the flow curves against your duty before you order. This unit has a manual drain, which suits supervised installations where an operator bleeds the bowl on a routine round and which widens the adjustment range to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi); automatic or differential-pressure drains suit unattended duty and carry a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) range. The standard 40um element protects most actuators and valves; the 5um (W) grade is the choice for finer downstream air. Gauges are optional - embedded square or external round, in MPa, psi or bar scale - and this code omits them. Thread can be ordered in G (BSPP) or NPT instead of the standard PT, and a mounting bracket can be added if this bracketless code does not suit your panel. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your operating pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet curves and check that the 400-size body with its 3/8in port is correctly sized for your application, on request.
The manual drain (code M) means an operator opens the bowl drain to expel collected water, which suits attended machines and widens the regulator adjustment range to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). For unattended or hard-to-reach installations, order the automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain versions instead; those carry a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) range.
