The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400-10 Filter Regulator (GFR40010MJNK) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40010MJNK is a G-series filter regulator with a built-in reverse/check valve (code K): water and particulate separation plus downstream pressure regulation in one body, with reverse-flow protection at the outlet. This 400-size unit has a 3/8in PT port (PT is the standard thread), a polycarbonate bowl with manual drain, and the standard 40um filter element. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the manual-drain adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. As coded, the unit is supplied without a gauge and without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series runs from 200 to 600 sizes with ports from 1/8in to 1in, optional 5um elements, automatic or differential-pressure drains, embedded square or external round gauges (MPa, psi or bar scale), and G (BSPP) or NPT thread variants to order; the K check-valve code is a catalogue option you can add or drop. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a fixture-clamping circuit where the set pressure must not drift back if the main supply dips, the built-in reverse/check valve isolates the downstream side while the 40um element keeps compressor-carried rust and water out of the clamp cylinders.
Conditioning the air feed to a weaving or spinning machine's cylinder and jet circuits: the filter-regulator sets the working pressure at the machine, and the check valve stops downstream air feeding backward through the drop during maintenance.
Feeding pilot air to quarter-turn actuators where a supply interruption must not vent the loop, the reverse/check valve holds the regulated side while the manual-drain bowl fits a supervised plant round.
The 400 size with 3/8in port is the mid-to-large step in the GFR range; if your demand is smaller, drop to a 200 or 300 body, and go to 600 for heavy lines - we will check the curves against your duty before you order. This unit adds the K option, a reverse/check valve, which you choose when backflow through the unit must be prevented at the point of use; drop the K from the code if you do not need it. The manual drain suits supervised installations and gives the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range; automatic or differential-pressure drains suit unattended duty with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) range. The standard 40um element suits most actuator and valve circuits; the 5um (W) grade serves finer air. Gauges are optional (embedded square or external round, MPa/psi/bar) and are omitted in this code. Thread is the standard PT; G (BSPP) and NPT are orderable variants, and a bracket can be added. Flow is published as curves, so confirm sizing with us before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your working pressure and demand and we will confirm the datasheet curves and verify the 400-size, 3/8in-port body - with its check valve in the flow path - is correctly sized, on request.
K is the reverse/check valve option: a check valve fitted at the outlet that blocks reverse flow through the unit, useful where downstream pressure must be held if the supply side drops. The same body is available without it - order GFR40010MJN - and the choice does not change the 1.0 MPa (145 psi) maximum working pressure or the 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range of this manual-drain version.
