The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400-10 Filter Regulator (GFR40010NK) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40010NK is a G-series filter regulator combining filtration and pressure regulation in one body. This 400-size unit has a 3/8in NPT port, a differential-pressure drain on the polycarbonate bowl, the standard 40 um filter element, a fitted reverse (check) valve, and no gauge. The check valve blocks reverse flow through the unit, and the differential-pressure drain clears condensate automatically; regulation spans 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G series runs from size 200 through 600, with options for ports, threads (PT standard, G and NPT as catalogue options), drain types, filter grades, gauges and the check valve seen here. Flow is published as curves, not a single figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your circuit on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Regulating and filtering supply air to a multi-circuit test rig, where the check valve prevents backflow from one circuit upsetting the regulated setting.
Feeding diverter and stopper cylinders on a parcel sortation conveyor, with automatic condensate draining and backflow protection in the supply leg.
Filtering and regulating a shared plant-air drop where other equipment on the header can push back through the line - the check valve isolates the regulated side.
Match the 400 body and 3/8in port to your mid-range flow demand; step to 600 for heavier duty or to 200/300 for smaller circuits. The K in this code fits a reverse (check) valve - choose it where backflow through the unit must be prevented; the plain GFR40010N omits it. Drain choices are differential-pressure (this code), automatic, or manual. Filter grade is the standard 40 um; the W variant carries 5 um. N means no gauge. NPT is specified here; PT is standard and G (BSPP) is orderable.
There is no single rated flow figure for the G series - flow is published only as curves. Send your application data and we will confirm the datasheet and check sizing against the curves before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
No - AirTAC publishes G-series flow only as curves, not as a single rating, so quoting one would be misleading. Confirmed specifications are the 3/8in NPT port, 1.0 MPa (145 psi) maximum working pressure and 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) regulation range. Ask us and we will confirm the datasheet and sizing against the curves on request.
Only the K: GFR40010NK has a reverse (check) valve fitted to block backflow through the unit, while GFR40010N does not. Both share the 3/8in NPT port, differential-pressure drain, standard 40 um element and no gauge. If you need finer filtration, the W variants carry a 5 um element; manual-drain variants widen the regulation range to 0.05-0.9 MPa.
