The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400-10 Filter Regulator (GFR40010NWK) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40010NWK is a G-series filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in one body. In this configuration the 400 size unit carries a 3/8 in PT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain bowl and a built-in reverse (check) valve, and it is ordered without a gauge. It removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds a steady downstream pressure, which protects valves and cylinders on lines where a separate lubricator is not wanted.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with PT, G and NPT thread options, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um filtration and gauge variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR400 | G-series filter regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air to pneumatic clamps and vises on machining centres, with the check valve holding the clamp circuit if shop air pressure drops.
Clean, steady-pressure supply for the air cylinders that push, stop and divert product on packaging and distribution conveyor lines.
Point-of-use conditioning ahead of pick-and-place and press-fit actuators on automated assembly cells, without adding oil mist to the circuit.
Step up or down between sizes 200 to 600 to match the pipe and flow demand; this 400 size unit is fitted with a 3/8 in PT port. The differential-pressure drain is the default: it bleeds condensate automatically when the pressure differential is high enough, with no operator attention. The 40 um element is the standard grade for general plant air; choose the W option only when finer 5 um filtration is required. The N suffix deletes the gauge - add one if you need to see and verify the set pressure. The K suffix fits a reverse/check valve so downstream pressure is retained if the supply is lost. PT is the standard thread; G (BSPP) and NPT are catalogue options. Flow for this series is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your flow requirement and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the G series as characteristic curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote one. Send us your required flow and port size and we will confirm the figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
The N in the code means the unit is ordered without a gauge; gauge versions with square embedded or round external dials and MPa, psi or bar scales are available in the same series. The K suffix means a reverse (check) valve is fitted, so downstream pressure is retained if the upstream supply fails.
