The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400-15 Filter Regulator (GFR40015AC1WK) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40015AC1WK is a G-series filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in one body, with a drain bowl and no lubricator. This configuration is the 400 size with a 1/2 in PT port, an automatic drain (A), the fine 5 um filter element (W), a round external pressure gauge reading in MPa (C1), and a built-in reverse-flow check valve (K). With automatic drainage the regulating range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), max working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the bowl is PC (polycarbonate) at this size, and the working temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. No oil mist is added; add a separate GL lubricator if downstream tooling needs lubrication.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the G series, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G (BSPP) or NPT as orderable thread options, plus differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, a 40 um standard element with the 5 um (W) option, gauge scale choices and the reverse-valve (K) option. AirTAC publishes flow for these units as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm flow and full datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted at the air drop of a CNC machining center, the unit removes water and fine particles before the supply reaches the tool-changer and clamp actuators, and holds their working pressure where the setter dials it. The fitted check valve keeps the circuit from back-feeding when the main supply is isolated.
Conditions the air feeding the taping heads and flap-fold cylinders of a carton-sealing conveyor line. The 5 um element protects the small control valves that cycle the sealing heads, while the drain bowl continuously carries off condensed water on an automatically drained line.
Placed ahead of a paint spray booth's atomizing circuit, the unit drains off water and filters fine particulate before air reaches the spray guns, and the regulator holds gun supply pressure steady at the value the painter sets on the MPa scale.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in PT port is the step for lines whose demand outgrows 1/4 or 3/8 units; step up to 600 for larger ports or down to 300 for compact circuits. The A code gives automatic drainage, which sets the regulating range at 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi); manual-drain versions (M) widen it to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and blank gives differential-pressure drainage. W selects the fine 5 um element; leave it out for the 40 um standard. C1 is the round external gauge in MPa, with psi (C2) and bar (C3) scales available and N deleting the gauge. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT orderable; code J omits the bracket. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one rated-flow number to quote. Send us your line pressure and demand details and we will confirm the flow curve and datasheet figures for this exact model on request before you order.
K means a reverse-flow (check) valve is fitted, so air cannot flow back through the unit toward the supply when the downstream circuit is shut down or decompressed. The same unit ordered without the K code does not carry the check valve.
