The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400-15 Filter Regulator (GFR40015F1) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR40015F1 is a G-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body, with no lubricator. This 400-size unit carries a PT1/2 port (PT is the standard thread), the standard 40 um filter element, the differential-pressure drain as coded, and the embedded square gauge with MPa scale (F1). No reverse/check valve is fitted, a mounting bracket is included, and the 400 size uses a polycarbonate bowl. Regulated output is adjustable from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with this drain type; maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family runs in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and offers drain choices, a 5 um element option (W), square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G or NPT threads as catalogue alternatives to PT. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm flow and full datasheet details on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Regulated air to spray guns in an automotive refinish booth, where the embedded MPa gauge sits directly in the operator's line of sight and the regulator holds the atomization pressure set for the coating in use.
Air preparation for the placement-head and support cylinders on an SMD assembly module, with the 40 um element handling general plant air ahead of the machine's own fine filtration.
Filtered, regulated supply to nailers and staplers on a furniture production cell, keeping tool pressure consistent across stations that share one compressor header.
Pick the size and port from the air consumption of the circuit: 400 with a 1/2 inch port is the mid step of the 200-600 range, and each size step changes port and flow capacity together. Drain is differential-pressure as coded, with automatic (A) and manual (M) available on the same size; the element is the 40 um standard unless the W code orders 5 um. This unit uses the embedded square gauge reading in MPa; square psi or bar scales and the external round gauge are the alternatives. Thread is PT, with G (BSPP) and NPT orderable. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
Flow for the GFR series is published as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not state a number here. Share your downstream air demand and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request.
F1 is the embedded square gauge reading in MPa. On the same 400 size you can order F2 (square, psi), F3 (square, bar), an external round gauge (C with scale 1 MPa, 2 psi, 3 bar) or N for no gauge at all.
