The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400-15 Filter Regulator (GFR40015JC1K) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400-15JC1K is an AirTAC G-series filter regulator in the 400 size with a 1/2 in port and PT thread. In a single body it removes water and particulate down to 40 um and regulates downstream pressure over 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), the adjustment range that applies with the differential-pressure drain in this code. This configuration carries an external round pressure gauge scaled in MPa and a reverse-flow (check) valve, and is supplied without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G (BSPP) or NPT as catalogue options, plus manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) filter grades, gauge choices and low-pressure (L) variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, pressure-regulated 1/2 in supply feeding the valve manifold that runs cartoner clamps and product pushers, with the check valve holding downstream pressure during brief supply dips.
Filtered and regulated air for tool-change cylinders and chip-sweep nozzles on a CNC machining centre, with the MPa gauge giving operators a direct reading against the machine's set pressure.
Water and particulate removal plus stable regulation for the pneumatic clamp and capper actuators on a bottling line, where the differential-pressure drain keeps the bowl clear through shift-long running.
Stepping up to the 400 size gives a 1/2 in port versus 3/8 in on the 300, so match the port to your main air line and confirm sizing against the published flow curves before ordering. The differential-pressure drain bleeds the bowl automatically as load varies; manual (M) or automatic (A) drain codes are available if your duty or mounting position suits them better. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify W for a 5 um element. This unit's round gauge reads in MPa; psi (2) and bar (3) scales are orderable. PT is the standard thread - order the G or T suffix for BSPP or NPT. The J code omits the bracket; select the bracket version if you will wall- or panel-mount.
Because AirTAC publishes flow as curves and not a single rated number, send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number on this page. Send us your working pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet curve and check the 1/2 in sizing against your application before you order.
K marks that a reverse-flow (check) valve is fitted, so downstream pressure is held if the upstream supply drops. The same unit without the K suffix, for example GFR400-15JC1, has no check valve; tell us if you want the plain version instead.
