The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400-15 Filter Regulator (GFR40015N) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-15N is a combined filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in one compact body. This configuration is the 400 size with a PT1/2 port, the standard 40 um filtration grade, a differential-pressure drain bowl (PC bowl on the 400 size), and no gauge fitted, so it suits 1/2 in air lines where pressure is set by other means or checked separately.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series runs from 200 to 600 size with port options from 1/8 to 1 in, PT as standard plus G(BSPP) and NPT catalogue options, and drain, filter-grade, gauge and check-valve choices. Max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and working temperature is -5 to 70 C. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm flow and datasheet details on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the 1/2 in supply feeding a pneumatic stamping or riveting press, so the press cylinder sees clean air at a set pressure stroke after stroke.
Conditioning air for diverter gates and stopper cylinders along a packaging conveyor line, where the differential drain sheds condensate during continuous running.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to the solenoid valves on a carton case-sealing machine, with the 40 um element guarding valve spools from water and debris.
Work top-down: match the 400 size and PT1/2 port to your line's flow demand - the larger the size, the larger the port and flow path, so step up or down (300 or 600) if your fittings or air demand call for it. The differential-pressure drain (the blank/default) flushes condensate as pressure differential builds; choose automatic (A) for unattended duty or manual (M) for supervised points. The standard 40 um element protects most actuators and valves; specify W for 5 um where finer protection is needed. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT options, and a bracket is included unless the J suffix is ordered.
Because flow is published as curves, not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application's air demand before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated number, so there is no one flow figure we can quote. Tell us your application's air demand and we will confirm sizing and share the datasheet curve on request.
This model uses the differential-pressure drain (the default), which discharges condensate as the pressure differential across the drain builds. If you prefer hands-off drainage, order the A suffix for automatic drain; the M suffix gives a manual drain with a wider 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) regulating range instead of the standard 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
