The AirTAC AirTAC GFR600-20 Filter Regulator (GFR60020AC1W) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR series puts filtration and pressure regulation in one AirTAC body: air first passes a drain bowl and filter element, then the regulating valve, so a single 3/4 in PT ported unit does both jobs. This 600-size configuration carries an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, a 5 um element for finer particle removal than the standard 40 um grade, and an external round pressure gauge scaled in MPa. The 600-size bowl is aluminium alloy, maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and with the automatic drain the regulator adjusts over 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. GFR filter regulators span the 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in ports, with drain type, element grade, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT to order) and reverse/check valve all orderable options; a mounting bracket is included. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Prepares and regulates the 3/4 in air feed to ejection cylinders and take-out actuators on a PET blow-moulding line, with the 5 um element protecting downstream directional valves from fine particulate.
Feeds the diverter and stopper cylinders along a bottling hall conveyor, where one regulated 3/4 in drop serves several pneumatic branches and the automatic drain copes with condensate at a central supply point.
Sits ahead of a bank of pneumatic actuated ball valves in a process skid, holding a stable set pressure between 0.15 and 0.9 MPa so the positioners and actuators see consistent supply.
Step up to the 600 size when your circuit runs through 3/4 in ports and feeds multiple downstream valves from one preparation point; the 200/300/400 frames serve 1/8 to 1/2 in lines. Drain choices are differential-pressure (standard), automatic (fitted here) or manual, and the regulation window follows the drain: 0.15-0.9 MPa for automatic and differential drains, 0.05-0.9 MPa with manual. Element grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with the W code (fitted here). The round gauge in this code reads MPa; bar or psi scales and the embedded square gauge are alternatives. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available to order. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so no one number is quoted here. Send us your inlet pressure, downstream demand and acceptable pressure drop, and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet and check the sizing against your application before you order.
The C and 1 positions in the code specify an external round gauge scaled in MPa. If you prefer bar or psi scaling, the 3 or 2 codes cover those, and the embedded square gauge is the standard alternative on the same 600-size body - all are orderable options on the GFR series.
