The AirTAC AirTAC GFR600-20 Filter Regulator (GFR60020AC1WK) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR series combines filtration and pressure regulation in a single AirTAC body: air passes the drain bowl and filter element first, then the regulating valve, so one 3/4 in PT ported unit does both jobs. This 600-size configuration adds a reverse (check) valve at the K code, an automatic drain that removes condensate without manual attention, a 5 um element for finer filtration than the standard 40 um grade, and an external round gauge scaled in MPa. The 600-size bowl is aluminium alloy, maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the regulator adjusts over 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with this drain type.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. GFR filter regulators run from the 200 through 600 sizes with 1/8 in to 1 in ports; drain, element grade, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT to order) and the check valve are all orderable options, and a mounting bracket is included. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Regulates the 3/4 in air feed to the clamping manifold on a machining-cell fixture, where the check valve helps the circuit behave predictably between cycles and the 5 um element safeguards the clamping valves.
Prepares air for the sealing, tucking and discharge stations of a cartoning machine, supplying several actuator groups from one regulated 3/4 in point with automatic condensate removal at the header.
Feeds the doffer and sliver-handling cylinders on a spinning line, holding a steady regulated pressure from a 3/4 in ring main with fine filtration ahead of sensitive control valves.
Choose the 600 frame for 3/4 in ported circuits feeding multiple valves from one point; 200/300/400 units step down to 1/8-1/2 in. The K code here fits a reverse/check valve, useful where you want to hold upstream conditions against backflow in the regulated line. Drain options are differential-pressure, automatic (fitted here) or manual, with the regulation window following the drain: 0.15-0.9 MPa for automatic and differential drains, 0.05-0.9 MPa with manual. Element grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with W (fitted here). The round gauge reads MPa; bar and psi scales, or the embedded square gauge, are alternatives. Thread is PT standard with G (BSPP) and NPT to order. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
Yes - on request. AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated number, so no one figure appears on this page. Share your line pressure, downstream demand and allowable pressure drop, and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet and check the 600-size selection against your application.
K specifies that a reverse (check) valve is fitted in this filter regulator, in addition to the automatic drain, 5 um element and round MPa gauge decoded from the rest of the code. The same 600-size unit is available without the check valve by ordering the code without the K.
