The AirTAC AirTAC GFR200-06 Filter Regulator, NPT 1/8 in, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single compact body. This unit is the size 200 frame with 1/8 in NPT ports, 40 um standard filtration, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is high enough, so no manual draining routine is needed. The set pressure is read on the fitted embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and a reverse/check valve is fitted so downstream pressure is held if the supply is interrupted. No mounting bracket is included with this configuration.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port sizes and PT, G or NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, gauge scale options, and an optional reverse/check valve. Rated flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, pressure-set air to the solenoid valve manifold on a carton-forming or wrapping machine, with the check valve holding the circuit if the main supply drops.
Regulating clamp and hold-down cylinders on a small assembly fixture, where the 1/8 in ports match the compact cylinder supply lines and the psi gauge lets operators verify set pressure at a glance.
Conditioning shop air for bench-top test rigs and laboratory pneumatic circuits, combining water and particle removal with an adjustable, gauge-read output pressure in one unit.
Size and port set the capacity: the 200 frame with 1/8 in NPT ports suits compact circuits and light-duty drops; step up to 300, 400 or 600 when the air demand grows. Choose the drain to match the site: differential-pressure (this unit) drains itself with flow, automatic drains on a timer-free basis, and manual suits infrequently attended points. Filtration is 40 um standard for general air prep, or 5 um (code W) where finer protection is wanted. Gauges are available in MPa, psi or bar scales, and threads can be ordered as PT (standard), G or NPT. Brackets are optional. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your application and required flow and we will confirm the datasheet figures for this unit on request before you order.
This unit uses a differential-pressure drain: condensate collected in the bowl is discharged automatically whenever the pressure differential across the filter element rises high enough, so it suits lines with regular airflow and no dedicated drain routine. For intermittently used lines, a manual-drain version (code M) may be the better choice.
