The AirTAC AirTAC GFR200-06 Filter Regulator NPT 1/8 in Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single compact body. This size 200 unit is threaded NPT 1/8 in and is built as a low-pressure type, so it suits circuits that run well below standard line pressure. The 40 um element is the standard filtration grade, the bowl drains manually, and a reverse/check valve is fitted to hold downstream pressure when the upstream supply is lost. No gauge is fitted as supplied, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, PT, G or NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, an optional 5 um element, gauge options and a low-pressure type. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated air to a pneumatic clamp that must hold workpieces at a deliberately low set pressure, with the check valve holding the clamp position if the main supply drops.
Conditions the small pilot-air feed to a directional-valve manifold on a cartoning or filling line, keeping water and debris out of the pilot ports while regulating at a gentle pressure.
Provides clean, manually drained, low-pressure regulated air to bench-top test apparatus and small pneumatic actuators where a compact 1/8 in unit at the point of use is preferred.
Start with the port step: size 200 with a 1/8 in NPT port is the smallest GFR frame, so match it against the air demand of the circuit - if your consumption is near the top of what a 1/8 in line can carry, step up to a larger size. Choose the drain: this unit is manual drain, meaning someone bleeds the bowl on a routine; pick the automatic or differential-pressure drain variant if the installation is unattended. The 40 um element is standard; specify the W variant for 5 um where finer particulate removal matters. This is the low-pressure type, intended for circuits running below standard regulated pressures - confirm the exact regulation range with us before ordering. Thread options are PT (standard), G or NPT; this unit is NPT. A bracket is included; gauge options can be selected on related variants.
Flow for the GFR series is published as curves, not a single rating, so we cannot quote one number here. Send us your flow and pressure conditions and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your operating pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet for this exact model on request.
The M in the code means the bowl is drained by hand rather than automatically. Someone needs to bleed accumulated condensate from the bowl at sensible intervals. If the unit will sit in an unattended installation, ask us about the GFR200-06 variants with automatic or differential-pressure drains.
