The AirTAC AirTAC GFR200-06LW Filter Regulator, PT 1/8 in, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06LW is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one compact body. This unit is built in the 200 size with a PT 1/8 in port, the 5 um filter element (the W grade, finer than the 40 um standard), a differential-pressure drain, and the low-pressure regulator type. A round gauge scaled in psi is fitted, the mounting bracket is included, and the polycarbonate bowl lets you check the condensate level at a glance. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans the 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, drain choices (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), 40 um or 5 um filtration, standard or low-pressure regulation, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air to pneumatic clamps on a machining cell, where condensate and fine particles in the supply would upset repeatable clamping.
Clean, pressure-stable air to spray guns in a finishing booth, with 5 um filtration catching fine particles before they reach the nozzle.
Filter-regulated air for diverters and pushers on a packaging conveyor, keeping actuator pressure steady through shift changes.
Start with size and port: 200 through 600, with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, stepped against the flow your line needs. Then drain type: differential-pressure (this unit), automatic for unattended draining, or manual for infrequent servicing. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um (this unit's W code) where finer downstream protection matters. On regulated units you also choose standard or low-pressure type, gauge style (embedded square or external round) with scale MPa, psi or bar, thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order), and whether a bracket is fitted - this one includes it. Because flow is published as curves, not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the datasheet flow curves against your required flow before you order.
The W code selects the 5 um element instead of the 40 um standard. Choose 5 um where downstream valves, cylinders or instruments need finer protection; 40 um suits general plant air.
