The AirTAC AirTAC GFR200-06T Filter Regulator, 1/8 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady, combined in one compact 200-size body. This configuration is supplied with 1/8 in NPT ports, a polycarbonate bowl with a manual drain, the standard 40 um filter element, a round pressure gauge reading in bar, a reverse/check valve, and a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulating range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the working temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in up to 1 in, a choice of PT, G or NPT thread, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, and gauge or no-gauge variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clamp cylinders on a pneumatic press cell: the filter stage strips water and pipe-scale from the shop-air drop, the regulator holds the clamp pressure the tooling was set up for, and the reverse/check valve helps hold the setting if supply pressure dips.
Supplying diverter and pusher cylinders on a packaging conveyor: regulated air keeps stroke behaviour consistent between product changeovers, the 40 um element protects the directional valves, and the manual drain is emptied at shift start.
Providing clean, regulated pilot air to solenoid-operated process valves on a skid or manifold: the 40 um filtration guards the valve pilots, and the bar-reading gauge gives operators a local setpoint check without opening a control panel.
Size the unit against the air your circuit consumes: 200 is the compact step with a 1/8 in port here, while 300, 400 and 600 carry larger ports and higher flow. This unit has a manual drain, so condensate in the polycarbonate bowl is released by hand as part of routine maintenance; if you want drainage without operator attention, the family also offers automatic (A) and differential-pressure (blank) drain variants. Filtration is the standard 40 um element for general-purpose actuator supply, with the 5 um (W) grade available where finer protection is needed. The round gauge on this unit reads in bar; embedded square gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales are also offered. PT is the standard thread, with G and NPT as orderable options, and a bracket is included. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request.
The M in the code means condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is released by hand via the drain valve - a quick task during routine checks. If you would rather not rely on operator attention, the GFR family also offers automatic (A) and differential-pressure (blank) drain variants.
