The AirTAC AirTAC GFR20006MLC2WTK Filter Regulator NPT 1/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200 series is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single compact body. This configuration is the 200 size with a 1/8 in NPT port, fitted with a fine 5 um filter element (code W), a manual drain bowl, and the low-pressure regulator type for circuits that run below standard line pressures. It comes with a round external gauge scaled in psi, a reverse/check valve fitted, and a mounting bracket included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in up to 1 in, and is offered with a choice of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, standard or low-pressure regulation, gauge style and scale, thread option (PT standard, G and NPT to order) and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

A bench-mounted clamping fixture that holds workpieces at reduced air pressure: the GFR filters the shop supply to 5 um, regulates it down to the low clamping pressure, and the reverse/check valve holds the setting if the upstream supply dips.
A test bench running instruments and small air actuated devices that need clean, finely filtered air at a stable reduced pressure: the 5 um element protects the rig, the manual drain lets an operator clear the bowl at the start of each session, and the psi gauge gives a direct reading.
A drop from the main header feeding a small packaging machine actuator circuit: the unit filters water and particles from the plant supply, regulates a low working pressure for the delicate actuation, and the round psi gauge lets the line operator verify the setting at a glance.
Start with the port step: the 200 size takes a 1/8 in port, so match it to your line size and let the published flow curves - not a single rating - decide whether you need to step up to 300, 400 or 600. This unit is the low-pressure type (code L), intended for circuits regulated well below standard line pressure; ask us to confirm its exact adjustment range from the datasheet. It carries the 5 um element (W) for finer filtration than the 40 um standard, a manual drain you operate by hand, a round psi gauge, and a reverse/check valve. Thread here is NPT; PT is the AirTAC standard and G (BSPP) is also an order option. A bracket is included.
Before ordering, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the flow curves and the low-pressure adjustment range on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a flow figure here. Send us your line pressure, downstream pressure target and expected air demand, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
This code specifies the W grade, a 5 um element for finer filtration than the 40 um standard, and M for a manual drain you operate by hand rather than the default differential-pressure drain or the automatic option. The low-pressure regulator type (L), round psi gauge and fitted reverse/check valve are also part of this code. If you would prefer the 40 um element or an automatic drain, ask us for the matching GFR200 variant.
