The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-10 Low-Pressure Filter Regulator 3/8in is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300-10MLJC2WT is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure. This size 300 unit is ordered with a 3/8 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (code W), a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, and the low-pressure regulator type. It is supplied with an external round pressure gauge reading in psi, without a mounting bracket, and without a reverse (check) valve.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and can be ordered with 40 um or 5 um filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, PT, G or NPT threads, and with or without a bracket. Rated flow is published as curves rather than a single figure, so ask us to confirm flow and other datasheet values for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, low-pressure regulated air for hold-down cylinders and grippers on a bottling conveyor, where the 5 um element helps protect seals and the manual drain suits a shift-based maintenance routine.
Point-of-use air preparation for a laboratory automation skid: 5 um filtration and low-pressure regulation ahead of small pneumatic actuators, with a psi gauge for local setpoint checks.
Air preparation for a maintenance-shop paint or blow-off station: the 5 um element keeps water and particulate out of spray equipment while the regulator holds a steady, lower setting, and the psi gauge makes daily setting checks simple.
Size and port set the flow capacity: the 300 size with a 3/8 in NPT port suits mid-size circuits, and larger sizes (400, 600) carry more flow - we can check the published flow curves against your demand before you order. The 5 um element (code W) is the finer of the two grades (40 um is standard); choose it where downstream valves, cylinders or instruments need cleaner air. The manual drain (code M) means the bowl is bled by hand at intervals; automatic or differential-pressure drains are available if unattended drainage is preferred. The low-pressure regulator type (code L) is intended for lower set pressures than the standard type - the exact adjustment range is not published, so confirm it with us.
The round gauge on this unit reads psi; embedded square gauges and MPa or bar scales are alternatives. This unit has no mounting bracket (code J); a bracket is optional. Thread options are PT (the standard), G and NPT - this unit is ordered in NPT. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the relevant flow and sizing data from the datasheet on request.
The L code selects the low-pressure regulator variant, intended for lower set pressures than the standard type; the exact adjustment range is not published, so confirm it with us before ordering. The M code gives a manual drain, so the bowl is bled by hand at intervals - automatic and differential-pressure drains are orderable alternatives if you prefer unattended drainage.
