The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-10G Filter Regulator, G3/8, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10G is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is the size-300 unit with a G3/8 (BSPP) port, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, a 40 um standard filter element, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, a built-in reverse/check valve, and no mounting bracket. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl suits the size-300 frame; only the size-600 units use an aluminium alloy bowl.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, an optional 5 um element (code W), embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds and regulates the air to a small pneumatic press that crimps or seals cartons, with the automatic drain keeping condensate out of the valve stack between shifts.
Conditions the shop-air drop feeding a CNC machining centre's pneumatic tool-changer and clamping circuits, holding a steady regulated pressure at the machine.
Supplies filtered, regulated air to the pop-up divertors and stopper cylinders along a distribution-centre conveyor, with the check valve holding downstream pressure if the supply dips.
Start with the port step: the size-300 unit carries a 3/8 inch port, and moving to size 400 or 600 buys more flow capacity at the cost of a larger footprint, while size 200 suits smaller lines. Because published flow is presented as curves and not a single rating, ask us to check the curve against your air demand before you commit to a size. Choose the drain next: this unit has an automatic drain, but manual and differential-pressure versions exist if you prefer operator control or a drain tied to pressure differential. The 40 um element is standard; specify the W code for the 5 um grade where finer filtration is needed. Gauge options are the embedded square type or this external round type, with MPa, psi or bar scales. Threads come as PT (standard), G or NPT to order, and a mounting bracket can be added where this no-bracket version needs one.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your air demand and line pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves before you order.
The A in the code GFR30010AJC2GK specifies an automatic drain, which expels collected condensate on its own instead of relying on an operator. Differential-pressure (blank code) and manual (code M) drain versions of the same filter regulator are also available if you prefer those behaviours.
