The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-10G Filter Regulator G3/8 Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10G is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in one compact body. This configuration has a G3/8 (BSPP) port, a manual-drain polycarbonate bowl, a 40 um standard filter element, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, and a built-in reverse (check) valve that helps hold downstream pressure if the supply dips. No mounting bracket is fitted (code J). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR300 series. The GFR line covers sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, and options for automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), G or NPT threads, gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and a reverse valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding tool-clamp and tool-change cylinders on a CNC machining centre: filtered, regulated air at a set pressure, with the check valve helping hold the circuit if shop supply dips.
Regulating air to pick-and-place and sealing cylinders on a packaging line, with the 40 um element stopping pipe scale and moisture from reaching the valve island.
Supplying gripper and clamp actuators on a robotic welding cell, where the manual drain lets maintenance bleed accumulated condensate at the start of each shift.
Match the size and port to the air demand of the circuit: this 300-size unit carries a G3/8 port, one step up from the 1/4-inch 200 series and one below the 1/2-inch 400 series. Drain type is a real choice: manual (this unit, which also widens the regulating range to 0.05-0.9 MPa / 7-130 psi), automatic for hands-off condensate removal, or differential-pressure as the series default. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um (code W) for finer protection. Gauge scale can be MPa, psi or bar; thread can be PT (the standard), G or NPT to order; and a bracket can be added where this one is omitted. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and the full datasheet figures for this 3/8-inch unit on request.
This unit uses a manual drain: condensate is bled by hand, which suits attended installations, and it allows the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) regulating range. Automatic and differential-pressure drain versions are available in the same series if you prefer hands-off drainage.
