The AirTAC AirTAC GFR600-20 Low-Pressure Filter Regulator 3/4" NPT 5um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-20 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 600 unit is built with a 3/4 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (code W), a manual drain on the aluminium alloy bowl, and a round pressure gauge scaled in bar. It is the low-pressure type, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and options for drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge style and scale, G or NPT threads, and bracket choice. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet numbers for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated low-pressure air to carton-sealers and case-forming cylinders on a packaging line, with the 5 um element protecting downstream valves from water and debris.
Supplying filtered, low-pressure regulated air to clamping and positioning fixtures on a CNC machining cell, where stable fixture pressure protects part finish and repeatability.
Running diverter gates and stopper cylinders on a conveyor or sortation line, where the manual-drain bowl lets maintenance bleed accumulated water during scheduled rounds.
Size and port set the air capacity: step up from 200 to 600 as your flow demand grows, with this unit at 3/4 in NPT. Filter grade is a real choice: 40 um standard or 5 um (this unit, code W) where finer particle removal matters. Drain type matters too: manual (this unit) needs periodic bleeding, while automatic and differential-pressure drains handle condensate for you. Gauge style and scale (MPa, psi or bar; this unit: round, bar), thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) and bracket are all decodable options. Because flow is published as curves rather than one rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet flow curve for this 3/4 in, 5 um, low-pressure unit.
This unit is manual-drain (code M): condensate collects in the aluminium alloy bowl until an operator opens the drain. Choose it where maintenance rounds already exist; choose automatic or differential-pressure drain where the unit is hard to reach. Max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
