The AirTAC AirTAC GFR600-25 Filter Regulator, PT1 in, Square Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This 600-size unit has a PT1 (1 in) port, a 40 um standard filter element, and a manual drain, so an operator opens the drain at the bowl to discharge collected condensate. Because it is the 600 size, the bowl is aluminium alloy. The built-in square gauge is scaled in psi, and the standard regulator covers 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). This configuration has no mounting bracket and no reverse/check valve.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port options, manual or automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (W) element option, gauge scale choices, and G or NPT thread variants orderable against the PT standard. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Dropped from a 1 in plant air main to feed a production department, the unit strips water and pipe-scale from the compressed air and holds a steady regulated pressure for the whole drop.
Feeding the cylinder and valve manifold supply on a carton-forming and taping conveyor line, where clean, moisture-reduced air at a set pressure keeps case ejectors and flap tuckers sequencing consistently.
Installed ahead of a workholding clamp circuit on a machining fixture, letting the setter dial in and read the clamping pressure on the psi-scaled gauge while the element keeps moisture out of the clamp cylinders.
Step up or down through the 200 / 300 / 400 / 600 sizes to match the port and the flow your line needs; this 600 size sits at the 1 in end of the range. Choose the drain to suit access: manual (this unit) for supervised draining, automatic for hands-off condensate discharge, or the differential-pressure default. The 40 um element is standard; specify W if you need 5 um filtration. The embedded square gauge is standard and can be ordered with MPa, psi (this unit) or bar scale, with an external round gauge as an option. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available to order; a bracket can be added if this no-bracket configuration does not suit your mounting. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the datasheet flow curves for the GFR600 size on request so you can size the unit against your demand.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the aluminium bowl is discharged by opening the drain by hand, which suits points that are checked as part of a routine. If you would rather not rely on operator draining, the same GFR600 filter regulator can be ordered with an automatic drain (code A) or the differential-pressure drain (no code), and the element can be changed from the 40 um standard to the 5 um W grade at the same time.
