The AirTAC AirTAC GFR600-25G Filter Regulator, G1 (1 in) Port is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25G is a size-600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is fitted with a G1 (1 in) G-thread port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element rises, an embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and a reverse (check) valve. The maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulation range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). At size 600 the drain bowl is aluminium alloy.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with a 5 um (W) element, manual or automatic drain, MPa or bar gauge scales, an external round gauge, NPT thread, or without the check valve. Published flow data is given as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the outlet of a plant air receiver to clean and regulate the main header feeding an entire production floor, with the check valve holding downstream settings if supply pressure dips.
Conditioning and regulating the air feeding cylinders and grippers on a carton-forming and sealing conveyor, where steady pressure keeps clamp and push strokes consistent.
Filtering and regulating shop air before it reaches a CNC machining centre's pneumatic tool-change and clamping circuits, protecting valves from water and debris.
Size 600 with a G1 (1 in) port is the largest step in the GFR range, so choose it where the machine's air demand is highest and step down to 200/300/400 for smaller lines. The 40 um element is the standard grade for general plant air; specify the 5 um (W) option only where downstream valves or instruments need finer filtration. The differential-pressure drain on this unit needs no operator attention; manual-drain variants are available where you prefer scheduled draining. The psi square gauge is embedded as standard, and MPa or bar scales plus an external round gauge can be ordered. G (BSPP) thread is the port specification here; PT is the catalogue standard and NPT is an order option. A mounting bracket is included. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, send us your application's air demand and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM figure. Send us your application's air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet and check the sizing for you before you order.
This unit's differential-pressure drain discharges collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure drop across the 40 um element rises, so it suits installations that are not checked daily. If you prefer to drain the aluminium bowl on a fixed maintenance schedule, the manual-drain variant can be ordered instead.
