The AirTAC AirTAC GFR600-25T Filter Regulator 1 in NPT, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25T is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This size 600 unit is fitted with a 1 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two published grades), a manual drain on the bowl, and a reverse/check valve. The bowl on size 600 units is aluminium alloy. The round external gauge fitted here reads in psi, and the regulator is the standard (not low-pressure) type with a manual-drain adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. No mounting bracket is included with this configuration.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR filter-regulator family, published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in up to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard, with G and NPT as order options) and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Drops feeding a machining centre's clamps, tool-change cylinders and air blast need clean, dry air at a set pressure. This GFR600 filters water and chips-laden particulate to 5 um and holds the regulated pressure, with the psi gauge giving the setter a direct readout at the machine.
On a high-throughput packaging line, the main 1 in drop serving actuator banks and gripper cylinders passes through this unit: the 5 um element protects directional valves from water and debris, the regulator pins the circuit pressure, and the check valve holds the setting if the upstream supply dips.
Spray guns and air-driven agitators in a finishing booth are sensitive to water and coarse particles in the supply. This filter regulator cleans the air to 5 um, regulates the gun-feed pressure, and its manual drain lets the operator bleed accumulated condensate at the start of each shift.
Step up through the GFR sizes (200, 300, 400, 600) and their port sizes (1/8 in to 1 in) to match the air demand of the line; this 600 unit with its 1 in NPT port sits at the top of the range. Choose the drain to suit access: manual (as fitted here) for periodic draining, automatic or differential-pressure where the unit is hard to reach. Choose the filter grade: 40 um standard or 5 um (code W, as here) for finer particulate removal. Gauge style is embedded square or external round, with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries a round psi gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; this unit is NPT. Bracket included or omitted (J = no bracket, as here). Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR600 as characteristic curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your line pressure and the air demand of the equipment you are feeding, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The M in the code GFR60025MJC2WTK specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the bowl is released by hand, which suits stations an operator visits regularly. The same GFR600 body is also available with a differential-pressure drain (the default) or an automatic drain (code A) where the unit is installed in an inaccessible position.
