The AirTAC AirTAC GR40015JC2GK Pressure Regulator G1/2, psi Gauge is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT1/2" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The AirTAC GR400 is a compressed-air pressure regulator and nothing else: it holds a steady downstream pressure setting and carries no filter, no drain bowl and no lubricator. This configuration, GR40015JC2GK, is the 400 size with a G1/2 (1/2 in) female G-thread port, the standard (non low-pressure) regulator type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), a round external pressure gauge scaled in psi, a built-in reverse (check) valve that lets downstream air pass when the inlet is depressurised, and no mounting bracket - the unit can also be panel-mounted.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, a low-pressure type (L) limited to 0.4 MPa, and optional G or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. Rated flow for this size is published as a curve rather than a single figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet numbers for your application before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR400 | G-series pressure regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Standard type — 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Set a stable working pressure on the supply line to a pneumatic press or clamping fixture, with the check valve holding the set pressure downstream if the main supply is isolated.
Regulate the air feeding cylinders on a packaging or cartoning conveyor so grippers and pushers see a consistent pressure from a shared plant-air header.
Trim the pressure to a machine tool's pneumatic sub-circuit - clamps, tool-change actuators or air bearings - from the shop main line, read directly on the psi gauge.
Start with the port step: the 400 size takes a 1/2 in port, and larger sizes carry more flow - match the size to the air demand of the circuit rather than to the pipe alone. Choose the gauge scale you want to read (MPa, psi or bar; this unit is supplied with a round psi gauge), and decide whether you need the reverse/check valve (code K, fitted here) so downstream pressure is retained when the supply is shut off. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT available to order, and a mounting bracket can be specified if you are not panel-mounting. Because rated flow is published only as curves and not as a single rating, send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm the correct size from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The reflux valve lets air flow back through the regulator, which is useful when downstream volume must vent quickly. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes regulator flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM number here. Send us your required flow and inlet/outlet pressures and we will confirm the sizing from the GR400 datasheet on request before you order.
In GR40015JC2GK, the C2 selects the optional external round pressure gauge scaled in psi (an embedded square gauge is the standard alternative, with MPa, psi or bar scales available), and the K fits a reverse/check valve so downstream air is retained when the inlet is depressurised. Thread is G here; PT is the standard and NPT is also available to order.
