How to choose
Bore 12 mm offers moderate thrust in a compact footprint; selecting a larger bore increases push force qualitatively. The HLQ ball-bearing guide provides anti-rust and dust-proof advantages over the cross-roller HLS, making it the preferred choice where corrosion resistance or contamination control is important. Stroke 30 mm is within the standard stroke range for this bore.
This is the basic adjuster version with rubber bumpers at both ends. If your application needs shock absorption, add A for adjustable rubber stoppers, or B for shock absorbers (BS on extension, BF on retraction side, B on both; B-type not available on bore 6). The magnet is standard on every HLQ slide-table cylinder - the S in the model code confirms it is fitted. You cannot decline it. Compatible sensor switches are CMSH, DMSH, and EMSH series, which seat in the magnetic-switch slots machined into the body.
What cushioning does this basic version provide, and can I upgrade it?
The basic version (no adjuster code) uses rubber bumpers at both ends. Available upgrades include A for adjustable rubber stoppers, B for shock absorbers on both ends, BS for extension side only, or BF for retraction side only. B-type shock absorbers are not offered on bore 6. Allowable kinetic energy is confirmed from the published datasheet tables on request.
