With the maximum 60 mm stroke for the 20 mm bore, it reaches further into fixtures and stations while still delivering a theoretical push thrust of 157.1 N at 0.5 MPa, cushioned by a bumper at each end.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The MD family is the standard multi-mount design; choose the MK family where the rod must not rotate. This SKU carries no trailing S, so the cylinder is supplied without a magnet. We confirm dimensions and sizing from the datasheet on request.

An optional high-temperature seal material extends the range to 0 to 150 C. How to choose
Size the bore by thrust: at 0.5 MPa a 20 mm bore double-acting cylinder produces 157.1 N push and 131.9 N pull. MD lets the rod rotate; MK prevents rotation. Acting choices are double (MD), single push (MSD), single pull (MTD), double rod (MDD) or adjustable stroke (MDJ). This 60 mm stroke is at the top of the bore 20 table - the short covers caution against specifying an over-long stroke, so verify the travel you truly need. No trailing S means no magnet; PT thread is standard with G optional. Route side-load questions to us.

FAQ
Does MD20X60 include a magnet?
No. This SKU has no trailing S, so it is supplied without a magnet. If you need position sensing via magnetic switches, order the MD20X60S version instead - the S at the end of the code is what adds the magnet.
Is 60 mm the maximum stroke for this bore, and can the rod turn?
For a 20 mm bore double-acting MD cylinder the stroke table runs up to 60 mm, so this model is at the top of the range - the short covers caution against over-long strokes, and adjustable-stroke MDJ variants add a 10/20/30 mm range if needed. The MD rod is free to rotate; specify the MK no-rotating family to prevent rotation. Side-load limits come from the datasheet.
