How to choose
Start with bore size for thrust: a 32mm bore gives about 402.1 N push at 0.5 MPa double acting, the highest in the MD/MK range (smaller bores give less). Then choose the family: MD allows rod rotation, MK prevents it. Acting type: double acting (MD/MK), single-acting push (MSD/MSK), single-acting pull (MTD/MTK), double rod (MDD/MKD) or adjustable stroke (MDJ/MKJ, which adds a 10/20/30 mm adjustable range). The trailing S means this cylinder is supplied WITH a magnet in the piston, so magnetic switches can be sensed in the slots around the body. A model without the S, such as MD32X35, is supplied WITHOUT a magnet. The magnet is optional, exactly as the SKU shows.
