Can I use this cylinder where the rod must not rotate?
The MD32X50 is a standard MD cylinder, and rod rotation is not actively prevented. If the load must keep a fixed orientation, select the equivalent MK no-rotating model, which adds a no-rotating plate, brass bushing and fixed rod. Is a 50 mm stroke within range for this bore?
Yes. For 32 mm double-acting bores the stroke table runs up to 60 mm, so 50 mm is a standard choice. Keep in mind the covers are short, so avoid over-long strokes for the body, and confirm exact dimensions for your mounting design from the datasheet.
