How to choose
Bore 10 gives 39.3 N push at 0.5 MPa (33.0 N pull); step up a bore if you need more force. Pick MD where rod rotation is acceptable and MK where it must be prevented, and MDJ when the stroke must be adjustable on the machine. Double acting MDJ gives powered extend and retract. Bore 10 double acting strokes run up to 35 mm, and the MDJ adds a 10/20/30 mm adjustable range on top. The S suffix here means the magnet is fitted; drop it if you do not need switch detection. Thread is PT by default or G. Avoid over-long strokes on the short covers, and route side-load questions to us.

What does the S in MDJ10X35-10S mean?
The trailing S means this cylinder is built with a magnet, so reed or hall-effect switches can detect piston position in the slots around the body. The same code without the S is the identical cylinder without a magnet, and PT thread is the default with G available.
What is the adjustable stroke for, and what are the limits?
The -10 in the code adds a 10 mm adjustable range on top of the 35 mm base stroke, so you can set the exact working stroke on the machine.
