The MDJ20X25-10 is an AirTAC MDJ multi-mount cylinder, the adjustable-stroke version of the compact square-body MD series. Its body fixes from six directions - front, back, left, right, top and bottom - so units can be mounted side by side to save space, with magnetic-switch slots around the body and high guide precision. Double acting on a 20 mm bore, it delivers a theoretical push of 157.1 N at 0.5 MPa (131.9 N on the pull side) on air filtered to 40 um at 0.15-1.0 MPa, with a bumper cushioning the piston at each end of travel. The 25 mm base stroke carries a further 10 mm adjustable range for fine setting on the machine.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. How to choose
Bore 20 double acting produces a theoretical 157.1 N push at 0.5 MPa; choose bore 25 (245.4 N) for heavier loads or bore 16 (100.5 N) for lighter ones. Use the MD family when rod rotation is tolerable and switch to MK where the rod must not turn. The MDJ design adds a 10, 20 or 30 mm adjustable range to the base stroke; this model combines a 25 mm stroke with 10 mm of adjustment, and bore 20 double acting accepts strokes up to 60 mm. Keep the stroke short - the short covers of a compact body caution against an over-long stroke - and route side-load questions to us. Ejector on a small assembly press
