The AirTAC Airtac MDJ Adjustable Cylinder MDJ32X20-10S is a genuine MD multi-mount cylinder (adjustable stroke), 32 mm bore. Its compact square body fixes from six directions and mounts side by side to save space. It delivers about 402.1 N of push force at 0.5 MPa. A bumper cushions the impact.
The MDJ32X20-10S is a genuine AirTAC adjustable-stroke multi-mount cylinder, a compact square-body actuator that can be fixed from 6 directions (front, back, left, right, top and bottom) and mounted side by side to save space. This 32 mm bore double-acting version delivers a theoretical push thrust of 402.1 N at 0.5 MPa, and the stroke is fixed at 20 mm with an extra 10 mm adjustable range for fine end-position setting. Cushioning is provided by a bumper, and magnetic-switch slots are machined around the body; this SKU includes the magnet (trailing S).
As a member of the MD family this is the standard version where rod rotation is not prevented - for applications that need a non-turning rod, choose the MK family instead. The magnet is fitted only because this SKU carries the S suffix. We list genuine AirTAC parts and can confirm dimensions, overall lengths and sizing details from the datasheet on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC MD/MK multi-mount data. The front cover and piston are short, so avoid an over-long stroke. An optional high-temperature seal material extends the range to 0 to 150 C. Overall dimensions vary per stroke and allowable side-load is published as curves — ask us and we confirm from the datasheet.
Bore sets the thrust: at 32 mm this cylinder gives 402.1 N theoretical push at 0.5 MPa, the largest in the multi-mount range. The MDJ adjustable-stroke variant is double acting; if you need a fixed rod that will not turn, step across to the MKJ (no-rotating) version instead of the MDJ. Stroke here is 20 mm plus a 10 mm adjustable range; bore 32 double-acting cylinders go up to 60 mm stroke in the table, but the short covers mean an over-long stroke should be avoided - keep the rod guided and route any side-load question to us before ordering. Magnet is indicated by the trailing S (fitted on this SKU) and the port thread is PT by default or G with a trailing G; either way bore 32 uses a 1/8" port.
Bolted through its front or side faces onto a fixture, the 32 mm bore grips small machined or moulded parts with 402.1 N push at 0.5 MPa, while the 10 mm adjustment trims the clamp position to the part.
Mounted top or bottom on a welding or assembly jig, the cylinder ejects or locates workpieces in a fixed 20 mm motion, extendable by 10 mm so the jig can be set up without changing the cylinder.
Fixed from the side of a conveyor line, the short-stroke body raises or drops a stopper gate for part flow control, and side-by-side mounting keeps several stations within a tight pitch.
The trailing S means this cylinder is built with a magnet so it can trigger magnetic switches in the slots around the body. The same cylinder without the S (for example MDJ32X20-10) is supplied without a magnet. The trailing thread code is separate: blank is PT and G means G thread.
Yes to mounting: the multi-mount body fixes from 6 directions (front, back, left, right, top and bottom) and cylinders can sit side by side to save space. But allowable side-load is not a published figure here - confirm it from the datasheet or ask us before applying a side load, and avoid strokes that overhang the short covers.
