How to choose
The 16 mm bore gives 100.5 N theoretical push at 0.5 MPa (86.4 N pull side); select a larger bore for more force. Choose MK when the rod must not rotate and MD when rotation is acceptable; MSD/MSK and MTD/MTK cover single-acting push and pull. This unit is double acting with a 5 mm stroke plus a 10 mm adjustable range, well inside the bore 16 double-acting table of up to 50 mm. Does MKJ16X5-10 include a magnet?
No. The code has no trailing S, so this SKU is supplied without a magnet. A magnet is an optional fitment on MD/MK multi-mount cylinders; choose the S version of the same model if you need magnetic-switch detection in the body slots.
Why is the 5 mm stroke so short, and is that a problem?
It is a deliberate choice for compact, short-throw jobs such as stoppers, locaters and ejection. The short cover of the multi-mount design means you should not order a stroke longer than the bore's table allows (bore 16 double acting runs up to 50 mm plus the 10 mm adjustable range here).
