Pick MK rather than MD when rod rotation must be prevented; pick MD when some rotation is acceptable. Why does this model end in S when the plain MKJ32X30-10 does not?
The trailing S means a built-in magnet is fitted, so magnetic switches can be sensed in the slots around the body. The plain code has no magnet. Both are 32 mm bore, 30 mm stroke double-acting no-rotating cylinders with a 10 mm adjustable range and PT thread.
Can I use a long stroke on this compact cylinder?
Strokes up to 60 mm are listed for the 32 mm bore, but the multi-mount body has short covers, so an over-long stroke is best avoided in side-by-side layouts. Confirm exact dimensions from the datasheet and ask us about any side-load in your application.
