About the Airtac SI32 Standard Air Cylinder SI32BX90S
The AirTAC SI32BX90S is a discontinued double-acting ISO 15552 profile cylinder with a 32mm bore, 90mm stroke, and SUS304 stainless steel rod. Delivering 402N push force at 0.5MPa, it is replaced by the drop-in SAI32BX90S, which shares the exact mounting interface, G1/8 port, and M10x1.25 thread. The SAI upgrade features a two Y-shaped one-way piston seal for low start-up pressure, and adds SAIL, SAIF, and BSAI variants the SI lacked.
This unit includes a piston magnet for legacy CS1-B/DS1-B sensors, with a 27mm adjustable air cushion each end. Safe working load is ~241N (60% of 402N), allowing ~20kg vertical lift with a 2:1 margin. Note the cushion only decelerates; use SAIL or BSAI for load holding.
