About the GC20006F2WG AirTAC F.R.L. Combo, G1/8, 5 um Filter

The GC20006F2WG is a three-piece AirTAC F.R.L. combination: a separate air filter, pressure regulator and oil-mist lubricator built up as one GC200 unit. This configuration is made for 1/8 in ports with G (BSPP) threads, carries the 5 um filter element (the finer of the two published grades), drains condensate by differential pressure, and comes with the embedded square gauge scaled in psi. The regulator is the standard type with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range, no reverse/check valve is fitted, and a mounting bracket is included. Bowls on size-200 units are polycarbonate (PC).

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GC series is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, G, NPT or PT threads, manual or automatic drain options, 40 um or 5 um filtration, and gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). The combination has no separate bracket code — the three units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

FGauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square.
2Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
WFiltering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
GG (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GF200-06 filter, GR200-06 regulator and GL200-06 lubricator.

Size Class & How It Differs From GFC

  • GC200PT1/8" - PT1/4"
  • GC300PT1/4" - PT1/2"
  • GC400PT3/8" - PT1/2"
  • GC600PT3/4" - PT1"

A GC is three separate units, so the filter and the regulator can each be serviced or replaced on their own. A GFC is the two-unit set, where filtering and regulating share one body — shorter, but the two functions come as one part. Both filter, regulate and lubricate.

Is the GC20006F2WG AirTAC F.R.L. Combo, G1/8, 5 um Filter the Right Station?

Size and port: the 200 size with 1/8 in ports sits at the low end of the GC range; step up to 300, 400 or 600 when your line needs more flow at the same pressure. Drain: this unit uses the differential-pressure drain (the default); automatic (A) and manual (M) versions exist if you want hands-off or scheduled draining. Filtration: the W code fits the 5 um element instead of the standard 40 um grade - choose 5 um where downstream valves and cylinders are sensitive to fine particles. Gauge: the embedded square gauge here reads in psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are options. Thread: PT is the standard; G and NPT are catalogue options to order. A mounting bracket is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT1/8" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Three-unit (GC) or two-unit (GFC) layout
  • ✓ Oil mist acceptable downstream

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Install with the airflow arrow: filter first, lubricator last.
  • check Mount vertically, bowls down.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills; check the oil level.
  • check Keep the station above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream of the regulator. If any branch of the line must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator, or use a GR200-06 regulator with a GF200-06 filter on that branch.

GC20006F2WG AirTAC F.R.L. Combo, G1/8, 5 um Filter FAQ

AirTAC publishes GC flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your working pressure and the demand of your actuators, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet before you order.

The W code in GC20006F2WG selects the 5 um element instead of the standard 40 um grade. Choose 5 um where downstream valves, cylinders or instruments are sensitive to fine particles; the standard 40 um grade is available on other GC200 configurations.
