About the GC20008MLC2WGK AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, G1/4 Port

The GC20008MLC2WGK is a three-piece AirTAC GC-series F.R.L. combination: a filter, a pressure regulator and an oil-mist lubricator assembled as one air-preparation set. This configuration is built for a G1/4 (1/4 in) port, carries the 5 um filter element (code W) instead of the 40 um standard, and uses a manual drain on the polycarbonate (PC) filter bowl. The regulator is the low-pressure type, a round external gauge scaled in psi is fitted, a reverse/check valve is installed, and a mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GC family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options for thread (PT standard; G and NPT to order), drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. The combination has no separate bracket code — the three units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

08Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4".
MDrain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)).
LLow-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
CGauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square.
2Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
WFiltering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
GG (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
KReverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GF200-08 filter, GR200-08 regulator and GL200-08 lubricator.

Size Class & How It Differs From GFC

  • GC200PT1/8" - PT1/4"
  • GC300PT1/4" - PT1/2"
  • GC400PT3/8" - PT1/2"
  • GC600PT3/4" - PT1"

A GC is three separate units, so the filter and the regulator can each be serviced or replaced on their own. A GFC is the two-unit set, where filtering and regulating share one body — shorter, but the two functions come as one part. Both filter, regulate and lubricate.

Where the GC20008MLC2WGK AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, G1/4 Port Is Used

factory

Paint spray booth air prep

Feeds spray guns on a finishing line: the 5 um element strips water and fine particulate from shop air, the regulator holds gun pressure steady and the lubricator mists oil into the line.

conveyor_belt

Packaging line cylinder supply

Sits at the drop feeding carton-sealing and case-packing cylinders, delivering filtered, regulated and lubricated air to the actuators that cycle through every shift.

precision_manufacturing

Bench pneumatic press drop

Mounted on the air drop of a bench press, the set filters incoming shop air, regulates working pressure and lubricates the cylinder, with the fitted check valve completing the configuration.

Is the GC20008MLC2WGK AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, G1/4 Port the Right Station?

The real choices when specifying this unit: step through the 200/300/400/600 sizes and their matching ports to suit the air your line needs; choose manual, automatic or differential-pressure drainage on the filter bowl; pick the 40 um standard element or the 5 um (W) grade this model carries; select the gauge style and scale (embedded square, or external round in MPa, psi or bar - this model has a round psi gauge); and order the thread you need, with PT as standard and G or NPT as catalogue options. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT1/4" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Three-unit (GC) or two-unit (GFC) layout
  • ✓ Oil mist acceptable downstream

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Install with the airflow arrow: filter first, lubricator last.
  • check Mount vertically, bowls down.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills; check the oil level.
  • check Keep the station above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream of the regulator. If any branch of the line must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator, or use a GR200-08 regulator with a GF200-08 filter on that branch.

GC20008MLC2WGK AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, G1/4 Port FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GC series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one rated flow number to quote. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.

L marks the low-pressure regulator type; the exact regulation range for the low-pressure version is not published, so we confirm it on request. M marks a manual drain: you drain the filter bowl by hand rather than relying on the differential-pressure (default) or automatic drain options.
