About the GC30010MF2GK AirTAC F.R.L. Combination 3/8" G Thread

The GC30010MF2GK is an AirTAC GC-series three-unit F.R.L. combination: a separate air filter, pressure regulator and oil-mist lubricator piped as one conditioning set. This configuration is the 300 size with a G3/8 (BSPP) port, a manual-drain filter bowl in PC (polycarbonate), the standard 40 um filter element, an embedded square gauge reading in psi, a reverse/check valve fitted, and a mounting bracket included. In use it removes water and particulate, holds a set downstream pressure between 0.05 and 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and meters oil mist into the air line feeding downstream cylinders, valves and tools.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GC family is offered in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port sizes from 1/8" to 1", thread options (PT standard; G and NPT to order), drain choices, 40 um or 5 um (W) filter grades, gauge scale options and reverse-valve variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). The combination has no separate bracket code — the three units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

MDrain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
FGauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square.
2Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
GG (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
KReverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GF300-10 filter, GR300-10 regulator and GL300-10 lubricator.

Size Class & How It Differs From GFC

  • GC200PT1/8" - PT1/4"
  • GC300PT1/4" - PT1/2"
  • GC400PT3/8" - PT1/2"
  • GC600PT3/4" - PT1"

A GC is three separate units, so the filter and the regulator can each be serviced or replaced on their own. A GFC is the two-unit set, where filtering and regulating share one body — shorter, but the two functions come as one part. Both filter, regulate and lubricate.

Where the GC30010MF2GK AirTAC F.R.L. Combination 3/8" G Thread Is Used

precision_manufacturing

Pneumatic assembly press feed

Conditioning the air supply to a bench-mounted pneumatic press: filtered, regulated and lubricated air keeps the press cylinders and control valve working consistently through a shift.

conveyor_belt

Packaging line cylinder supply

A single F.R.L. set feeding the air cylinders that open, close and push cartons on a packaging conveyor, with the lubricator protecting seals and the regulator holding a steady setting.

factory

Plant air drop for air tools

Mounted at a workshop air drop that serves impact wrenches, grinders and air ratchets, removing line water and dirt, holding a set pressure and carrying oil mist to the tools.

Is the GC30010MF2GK AirTAC F.R.L. Combination 3/8" G Thread the Right Station?

Start with the size and port: 200, 300, 400 and 600 step up in port and flow capacity, so match the step to the air consumption of the machines downstream - this 300 size carries a 3/8" port. Choose the drain: manual (this unit) needs periodic draining by hand, while automatic and differential-pressure types drain without attention. Choose the filter grade: 40 um standard for general plant air, 5 um (code W) where finer protection matters. Pick the gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and the thread: PT is the standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as order options. Brackets are included on this configuration. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT3/8" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Three-unit (GC) or two-unit (GFC) layout
  • ✓ Oil mist acceptable downstream

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Install with the airflow arrow: filter first, lubricator last.
  • check Mount vertically, bowls down.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills; check the oil level.
  • check Keep the station above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream of the regulator. If any branch of the line must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator, or use a GR300-10 regulator with a GF300-10 filter on that branch.

GC30010MF2GK AirTAC F.R.L. Combination 3/8" G Thread FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GC series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your line pressure and the air consumption of the equipment downstream, and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request.

The M in the code GC30010MF2GK specifies a manual drain: the filter bowl is drained by hand at intervals. The GC series is also available with automatic or differential-pressure drains - if unattended draining matters in your installation, ask us for the equivalent code.
