About the GC40010C2WGK AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, G3/8

The GC40010C2WGK is a three-piece F.R.L. combination: a separate air filter, pressure regulator and oil-mist lubricator assembled as one supply unit. This configuration is built for a G3/8 (3/8 in) port with G thread, filters to 5 um for finer water and particulate removal, drains condensate by differential pressure, carries a round gauge scaled in psi, includes a reverse/check valve to hold downstream pressure, and comes with a mounting bracket.

This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GC series, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in up to 1 in, a choice of drain types, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge style and scale, and G/NPT thread options to order. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). The combination has no separate bracket code — the three units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

10Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2".
(blank)Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
CGauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square.
2Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
WFiltering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
GG (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
KReverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GF400-10 filter, GR400-10 regulator and GL400-10 lubricator.

Size Class & How It Differs From GFC

  • GC200PT1/8" - PT1/4"
  • GC300PT1/4" - PT1/2"
  • GC400PT3/8" - PT1/2"
  • GC600PT3/4" - PT1"

A GC is three separate units, so the filter and the regulator can each be serviced or replaced on their own. A GFC is the two-unit set, where filtering and regulating share one body — shorter, but the two functions come as one part. Both filter, regulate and lubricate.

Where the GC40010C2WGK AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, G3/8 Is Used

factory

Plant air drop for a machining cell

A filtered, regulated and lubricated air drop feeding CNC machine tooling and clamping cylinders, with 5 um filtration protecting spools and a check valve holding the set pressure through supply dips.

conveyor_belt

Packaging line actuator supply

Conditioning the air feeding pneumatic cylinders on a carton-forming and sealing conveyor, where the lubricator mist extends seal and cylinder life and the psi gauge lets operators verify line pressure at a glance.

engineering

Assembly station tool circuit

A point-of-use F.R.L. set ahead of air tools and screwdriver feeders at a bench assembly station, keeping moisture and fine particles out of the tools while the regulator holds a stable working pressure.

Is the GC40010C2WGK AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, G3/8 the Right Station?

Size 400 with a 3/8 in port sits in the middle of the G-series range; step up to size 600 or down to 300 depending on the flow your line needs - ask us to check the flow curves against your demand before ordering. The 5 um element (code W) suits applications more sensitive to particulates than the standard 40 um grade. The differential-pressure drain bleeds condensate automatically as flow passes the filter, with no drain-line plumbing; automatic and manual drains are available on other variants. The round gauge here reads in psi, and square gauges or MPa/bar scales can be ordered. PT is the standard thread; G and NPT are order options. The reverse/check valve holds set pressure if the upstream supply drops, and the bracket simplifies panel or frame mounting.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT3/8" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Three-unit (GC) or two-unit (GFC) layout
  • ✓ Oil mist acceptable downstream

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Install with the airflow arrow: filter first, lubricator last.
  • check Mount vertically, bowls down.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills; check the oil level.
  • check Keep the station above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream of the regulator. If any branch of the line must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator, or use a GR400-10 regulator with a GF400-10 filter on that branch.

GC40010C2WGK AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, G3/8 FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GC series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one number we can quote. Tell us your working pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.

The W in the code specifies the finer 5 um element, which removes smaller particulates than the standard 40 um grade - useful where downstream valves or tools are sensitive. The K code adds a reverse/check valve, which holds the regulated downstream pressure if the upstream supply is interrupted.
