The AirTAC GC40015MLF2 AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, PT1/2, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series three-unit F.R.L. combination: a separate filter, a separate regulator and a separate lubricator assembled as one air-preparation station. It has PT1/2" ports, a 40 µm element, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi).
The GC40015MLF2 is a genuine AirTAC GC-series three-unit F.R.L. combination: a separate air filter, pressure regulator and oil-mist lubricator built as one air-preparation station for 1/2 inch (PT1/2) lines with PT thread. This configuration carries a manual drain on the filter bowl, a 40 um standard filter element that removes water and particulate, a low-pressure regulator with an embedded square gauge reading in psi, and a lubricator that meters oil mist downstream to pneumatic tools and actuators. The filter and regulator bowls are PC (polycarbonate) at this size. Maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GC combination family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual filter drains, an optional 5 um filter element (code W), gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread options to order. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. The combination has no separate bracket code — the three units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GF400-15 filter, GR400-15 regulator and GL400-15 lubricator.
A GC is three separate units, so the filter and the regulator can each be serviced or replaced on their own. A GFC is the two-unit set, where filtering and regulating share one body — shorter, but the two functions come as one part. Both filter, regulate and lubricate.

Installed at the point of use on a plant air drop, the combination cleans water and particulate from the shop supply, holds a stable low working pressure for the cell's valves and cylinders, and carries oil mist to keep air tools and actuators lubricated through the shift.
Mounted on the supply leg of a packaging line, the unit conditions air feeding carton sealers, case packers and pick-and-place actuators: the 40 um element and manual-drain bowl manage condensate, the low-pressure regulator with psi gauge holds the set point, and the lubricator services the line's pneumatic cylinders.
Fitted ahead of a machining cell's pneumatic clamps and tool-change circuits, the combination filters the workshop supply, regulates it to the pressure the clamping circuit was designed for, and lubricates the actuation package - with the square psi gauge giving the operator a visible set point.
Start with the size and port step: the 400 size with PT1/2 ports suits lines sized for heavier air demand than the 200/300 steps, but the right choice depends on the flow your circuit actually needs, so match the size step to the application rather than to the pipe alone. This unit has a manual drain (code M): someone must periodically open the bowl drain, whereas the differential-pressure default drains automatically and the A code gives a fully automatic drain - pick manual only where draining visits are practical. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify the W option for 5 um filtration if downstream valves or cylinders need finer air. The embedded square gauge here reads in psi; MPa or bar scales are available, and an external round gauge is optional. PT thread is the standard; G (BSPP) and NPT are catalogue options to order. Note that this is the low-pressure regulator type (code L); its exact adjustment range is not published on our sheet, so confirm it with us. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating - ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream of the regulator. If any branch of the line must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator, or use a GR400-15 regulator with a GF400-15 filter on that branch.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your application and required flow and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The M in the code means the filter bowl has a manual drain: it must be opened periodically to remove collected condensate. The GC series also offers the differential-pressure drain (the default, no code letter) and a fully automatic drain (code A), so if you cannot rely on regular drain visits, ask us for the automatic-drain variant instead.
