The AirTAC GFR200-06 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 1/8 in, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one compact body. This 200-size unit is ordered with a 1/8 in NPT port, the 5 um element (code W) for finer filtration than the standard 40 um grade, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds the bowl as pressure falls, an embedded square gauge scaled in MPa, and a built-in reverse (check) valve. It is the low-pressure (L) type; the exact adjustment range for that variant is not published, and we confirm it on request. The polycarbonate bowl suits the -5 to 70 C (non-freezing) operating range, with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um filtration, standard or low-pressure regulation, gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rating, so send us your application and we will confirm sizing and datasheet figures before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a carton-forming or wrapping line, this unit feeds clean, regulated air to directional valves and small actuator circuits, with the 5 um element protecting sensitive pilot components.
Test rigs and analytical fixtures that need finely filtered, settled supply air can take this unit at the bench, using the check valve to hold the setting if upstream supply dips.
Low-pressure actuation of diverter gates and pusher cylinders on conveyor lines, where the low-pressure (L) regulation and square MPa gauge suit circuits set well below full line pressure.
The real choices on this series: step from size 200 up to 300, 400 or 600 for larger ports (1/8 to 1 in) and more flow; pick the 5 um W element when downstream equipment needs finer air than the standard 40 um; choose automatic or manual drain if differential-pressure draining does not suit the duty; set the gauge scale to MPa, psi or bar; and order PT or G thread instead of the NPT fitted here if your piping requires it. A mounting bracket is included on this unit. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and operating pressure and we will confirm the sizing and full datasheet figures on request before you order.
The L in the code marks the low-pressure regulator variant, intended for circuits set below the standard adjustment range. The exact range for the low-pressure type is not published in the sheet we work from, so we confirm it on request. Everything else decodes normally: 1/8 in NPT port, 5 um element, differential-pressure drain, square MPa gauge and a fitted check valve.
