The AirTAC GFR200-06 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/8 40um Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one compact body. This 200-size unit has a PT1/8 (BSPT) port, a 40 um standard filter element, a manual drain on the PC bowl, an embedded square gauge reading in psi, and a built-in reverse/check valve that holds downstream pressure when the upstream supply is lost. It is supplied without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale, thread form (PT standard, G and NPT as options) and bracket configuration. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air to clamp cylinders on a milling or drilling fixture, with the check valve holding clamp pressure if the shop air supply drops.
Point-of-use preparation for the cylinders and air bells on a carton sealing or wrapping conveyor, filtered to 40 um and regulated to the actuator's set pressure.
Local regulation of supply air to valves and indicators on a compact process skid, with the psi gauge giving operators a direct local pressure readout.
Start with the port size: this unit is the 200 size with a 1/8 inch PT port, the smallest step in the range - step up to GFR300/400/600 if your line needs larger ports and more flow. Choose the drain to match the installation: manual drain (this unit) suits accessible, regularly serviced positions; automatic or differential-pressure drain suits hard-to-reach or unattended installations. Filtration is 40 um standard; specify the W option for 5 um where finer protection is needed. The embedded square gauge here reads in psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are available. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as orderable options, and a bracket can be added if this no-bracket configuration needs panel fixing.
Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a Cv or flow number. Tell us your application and required flow and we will confirm the datasheet figures for the GFR200-06 on request before you order.
The M in the code means the PC bowl drains via a manual valve, which suits accessible positions that are serviced regularly. If the unit will sit in a hard-to-reach spot or run unattended, choose the automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain option instead - both are available in the same GFR200 size.
