The AirTAC GFR200-06 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06 is a compact filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in a single body. This 200-size unit is fitted with a 1/8 in PT port, a 5 um filter element for finer filtration than the standard 40 um grade, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically when the pressure differential rises, and a reverse/check valve that holds the downstream setting if the supply is interrupted. An external round gauge with a psi scale is fitted so the regulated pressure can be read at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale options and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to a machining centre's pneumatic tool clamps and chip-clearing jets, where the 5 um element protects fine valves from particles and the check valve holds the clamp circuit if shop pressure drops.
Conditioning the air feeding benchtop test rigs and analytical instruments, where the fine 5 um grade and a steady regulated pressure keep sensitive pneumatic controls behaving consistently.
Supplying the pilot air for packaging machinery's directional valves and cylinders, with the differential-pressure drain keeping condensate out of the valve bank without daily manual draining.
Start with the port and size: the 200 series with a 1/8 in PT port suits lighter air demand, and stepping up to 300, 400 or 600 gives larger ports and more flow capacity. Choose the drain to match the installation: differential-pressure (as fitted here) needs no operator, automatic drains on a cycle, and manual drain suits supervised positions. The 5 um element fitted here is the finer option; the 40 um standard grade is available if coarser protection is enough. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), PT versus G or NPT thread, and bracket inclusion are all decodable choices. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet for this exact configuration on request.
The W in the code GFR20006JC2WK specifies the optional 5 um filtration grade. It captures finer particles than the 40 um standard element, which suits downstream components that need cleaner air. If your application only needs coarse protection, the 40 um grade is available in the same series.
