The AirTAC GFR200-06 AirTAC Filter Regulator, PT1/8, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR200-06 is an AirTAC filter regulator: water and particulate removal plus downstream pressure regulation combined in a single body. This 200-size unit has a PT1/8 (1/8 in) port, a manual-drain polycarbonate bowl, a 40 um standard filter element and an embedded square gauge scaled in psi. It is the low-pressure (L) type, a reverse/check valve (K) is fitted, and no mounting bracket is included (code J). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), on compressed air only.
This is a genuine AirTAC part, available across the G-series in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in and PT, G (BSPP) or NPT thread. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm flow and other datasheet figures against your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, low-pressure regulated air feeding the clamp cylinders on a small assembly fixture, with the square psi gauge giving the operator a direct setpoint readout.
Conditioning the air supply to carton-forming and sealing heads on a packaging line, where the manual drain lets maintenance drain accumulated water at shift checks.
Clean, regulated air to spray guns at a finishing booth, with the 40 um element catching particulates and the reverse/check valve holding the setting if supply dips.
Pick the size step (200/300/400/600) and port to match the line and duty, then choose the drain: manual (this unit, code M) for hand draining when wanted, automatic for continuous condensate discharge, or the differential-pressure default. Filter grade is 40 um standard here; order code W for the 5 um element where finer filtration is needed. The embedded square gauge is standard and this unit is scaled in psi (MPa or bar scales are order options); an external round gauge is also available. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as orderable options, and code J orders the unit without a bracket. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so there is no one l/min or SCFM number we can quote honestly. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for the GFR200-06 on request before you order.
Manual drain (code M) means condensate in the polycarbonate bowl is released by opening the drain by hand, rather than discharging automatically. The L code marks the low-pressure regulator type, intended for circuits that run at reduced pressure; the exact adjustment range for this type is not published in the standard table, so ask us to confirm it from the datasheet.
