The AirTAC GFR200-06MF2 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/8 in, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06MF2 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one compact body. This 200-size unit is tapped PT1/8 (1/8 in) and is set up with a manual drain, a 40 um standard filter element, and the embedded square gauge scaled in psi. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). The polycarbonate bowl suits non-freezing air from -5 to 70 C.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drain, a 5 um (code W) element in place of the 40 um standard, gauge scale choices, G or NPT thread options, and a mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to the pilot and process solenoid valves on a packaging line, where the manual drain lets an operator bleed accumulated condensate at the start of each shift and the psi gauge gives a direct setpoint readout.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to the clamp cylinders of a machining fixture, where holding force depends on a stable setpoint within the 0.05-0.9 MPa adjustment range and the 40 um element keeps scale and pipe debris out of the clamps.
Conditioning the air supply to the extend/retract cylinders of a conveyor divert or pusher station, combining water and particulate removal with downstream pressure regulation at a single PT1/8 connection point.
Start with the size and port: 200 is the smallest GFR frame, and the 06 tapping gives a PT1/8 connection - step up to 300/400/600 if the line needs a larger port and more flow. This unit carries the manual drain, which also widens the regulation range to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi); automatic and differential-pressure drain versions regulate 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). The 40 um element is standard - choose the 5 um W-code element where finer filtration is needed. The embedded square gauge here reads in psi; MPa and bar scales are available, and an external round gauge is an option. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; the mounting bracket is included. Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Send us your application - line pressure, downstream demand and acceptable pressure drop - and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the model code specifies a manual drain: an operator opens the drain at the bottom of the polycarbonate bowl to release collected water. With a manual drain, the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi); automatic and differential-pressure drain versions of the same family regulate 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). If nobody is on site to drain the bowl regularly, ask us about the automatic-drain option.
