The AirTAC GFR200-06T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT 1/8 in, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06T combines water and particulate filtration with pressure regulation in a single compact body. This 200-size unit is fitted with a 1/8 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element for finer contaminant removal than the standard 40 um grade, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds accumulated condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is sufficient. The built-in square gauge reads in bar, the regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and no mounting bracket is included in this configuration. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl gives a clear view of condensate level.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of 40 um or 5 um filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, gauge scale options and G/NPT thread variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Cleaning and regulating the shop-air feed to a machining centre's pneumatic tool-changer and clamping circuits, where the 5 um element protects fine spool valves and the regulator holds a stable setpoint for consistent clamp force.
Conditioning the air feeding cylinder-driven diverters and stoppers on a packaging conveyor, keeping moisture and particles out of the valves while holding the pressure the cylinder circuit was designed around.
Supplying clean, regulated air to bench-top analytical or test instruments in a lab, where the 5 um grade and a stable regulated pressure protect sensitive pneumatic controls, with the bar-scale gauge giving a readable local setpoint.
Start with the flow your line needs at the point of use: the GFR family steps through sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, so pick the size whose curve covers your demand with margin. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. This unit is specified with the 5 um element; choose 40 um where coarser filtration is acceptable and element life matters more, or 5 um where finer protection downstream is the priority. The differential-pressure drain suits installations that see steady, regular flow; choose an automatic drain for intermittent duty or unattended locations, or a manual drain where an operator checks the bowl routinely. The square gauge here reads in bar; MPa and psi scales are also available. NPT is specified on this code, with G (BSPP) and PT as orderable thread options, and this configuration omits the mounting bracket, which can be added if panel or wall fixing is needed.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as characteristic curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow figure. Tell us your application's flow and pressure demand and we will confirm the correct size against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The W code in GFR20006JF3WT selects the optional 5 um filter element instead of the 40 um standard, giving finer protection for downstream components. The blank drain position selects the differential-pressure drain, which automatically discharges condensate when the pressure drop across the element is sufficient; automatic (A) and manual (M) drains are available as alternative order codes.
