GFR200-06T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8, Bar Gauge

The AirTAC GFR200-06T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8, Bar Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR200-06T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8, Bar Gauge

The AirTAC GFR200-06T is a compact filter regulator that cleans compressed air and holds a steady downstream pressure in one body. This 200-size unit is threaded 1/8 in NPT, carries a 40 um filter element for water and particulate removal, and drains by hand through its manual drain. A round pressure gauge scaled in bar is fitted so the set pressure can be read at a glance, and the standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, PT (standard), G or NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element option (code W), square or round gauges scaled in MPa, psi or bar, and bracket options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Model Code: GFR200-06T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8, Bar Gauge

GFR200G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range.
06Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4".
MDrain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)).

(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
CGauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square.
3Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
TNPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

  • GFR600PT3/4" - PT1"

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR200-06T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8, Bar Gauge Is Used

tune

Labeling machine actuator supply

On a packaging line's labeling head, this filter regulator cleans the air driving the label applicator cylinder and holds a steady set pressure so labels are applied consistently through the shift.

settings_input_component

Small pneumatic press control

Feeding the control valve of a bench-top pneumatic press, the unit removes water and pipe scale from shop air and lets the operator dial in the pressing force with the bar-scaled gauge.

science

Laboratory air-line point of use

At a lab bench running air-operated sample handling equipment, the 1/8 in NPT connection, 40 um element and manual drain keep the instruments supplied with clean, regulated air that is drained at the end of each day.

Is the GFR200-06T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8, Bar Gauge the Right Unit?

Start with the port: this unit is 1/8 in NPT, so match it to the line size at the point of use, and step up to a larger GFR size (300/400/600) if the circuit needs more capacity. Choose the drain to suit access: manual (as here) suits attended installations, automatic suits unattended duty, and differential-pressure drain suits lines with stable demand. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify the 5 um W option where finer filtration is needed. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) are decodable choices, and a bracket can be ordered where panel or wall fixing is required.

Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT1/8" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR200-06T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8, Bar Gauge FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your application and required capacity and we will confirm the figures from the datasheet on request before you order.

The M in the code specifies a manual drain: collected water is released by hand rather than automatically. It suits installations that are checked regularly. If the unit will run unattended, ask about the automatic or differential-pressure drain versions of the same GFR200 size.
